The Moffat M233607 Thermostat EGO 150°-550°F reacts to the temperature variations by sensing this internally, and controlling the heating by opening or closing electrical contacts in its range. It turns off or turns on the heating element at the programmed temperature set points to ensure the oven conditions. The thermostat is attached to the appliance housing with the sensing part facing the surroundings or cooking cavity where accurate measurements are required. It is placed in a better position to detect the temperature and the heat is cycled.
