The Cleveland 19972 High-Limit Thermostatic Switch W/1/2" MPT & 1/4" Tab Term 193°F monitors internal heat conditions through a temperature-sensitive sensing element that responds to rising thermal levels by actuating an internal switch mechanism. When the preset threshold is reached, the contact opens to interrupt electrical current flow through the heating circuit, reducing further temperature increase within the steam system. The unit is equipped with a standard mounting connection and compatible terminals for continuous wiring integration. The switch is mounted on the housing to connect with the temperature sensor during operation.
