The Traulsen 3226004700 Evaporator Coil removes heat in the refrigeration compartment by letting the refrigerant expand and vaporize through its tubing and fins. When the refrigerant passes through the coil it absorbs the thermal energy of the air surrounding it and sends it to the refrigeration cycle. The evaporator coil is mounted in the evaporator chamber of the cabinet and fits in between existing brackets and airflow directions. The refrigerant lines and fittings of the system are connected to tubing. Its form fits into the available space and connects with other parts.
