The Nieco 2123 Safety Valve Red Button 3/4" BASO regulates flow of gas by letting the fuel flow through only when the pilot flame is correctly set up. It operates on an internal safety mechanism that closes the valve in case flame is extinguished stopping flow of gas during operation. This valve is installed in the gas station of the equipment and it is usually fixed close to the burner and pilot assembly where it has direct contact with the ignition components to control safe fuel supply.
