The Scotsman 12-2313-04 Water Inlet Solenoid valve is used to regulate water flow into the ice machine by opening and closing in response to electrical signals. These signals come during the time the machine is filling with water and making ice. The valve also controls how the water moves from the supply line that is connected to it and then sends the water into the internal system for freezing work. It is positioned close to the water entry point of the ice machine to ensure the correct water volume flows in during the ice-making process.
