The Vita-Mix VM015978 Stackable Plastic Container Assembly works by holding the ingredients inside a tough plastic jar, which connects with a blender base to pass on spinning power to inner blades for mixing and blending content. It has a sealed blade hub at the bottom that turns, motor-driven spinning from the base into cutting and circulating motion, so the ingredients keep moving to blend them. This is fixed onto a blender system that fits perfectly on the drive base, where the container is locked into the coupling mechanism to keep it stable while in use.
