The Vulcan Hart 00-857625-00001 Steamer Check Valve is made to regulate the movement of steam in a commercial setting to keep the steam flowing in one direction, and not in the opposite direction. It is attached through a 1/4" NPT inlet and a 1/2" barb outlet and is able to be connected directly to the internal piping of the steamer. It is fixed as a part of the steam delivery system that allows for maintaining the proper pressure and flow conditions to provide the appliance with an efficient and safe functioning during the cooking cycles.
