The Star Mfg WS-50387 Fryer Heating Element Kit Assembly 6" DIA 120V heats using electrical energy to convert it into thermal energy through the coiled resistance element. It is powered and the heat is transferred to the fryer medium allowing the cooking temperature to be controlled when it is on. This heating system is placed in the heating chamber or well of the fryer and is connected to the internal mounting points and then to the electrical system to ease the normal frying operations.

Installation Steps

Step1: Turn off fryer power and disconnect from the electrical supply.

Step2: Allow oil and unit to cool completely before starting.

Step3: Drain oil if necessary and remove access panels.

Step4: Disconnect wiring from the old element assembly.
