The American Range 10464 Griddle Air Mixer Plate assists in mixing the air flow with the gas flow in front of combustion to ensure a cleaner, more efficient flame under the plate. It works by introducing incoming air and gas in predetermined routes in a way that the mixture is brought to the proper ratio and then introduced into the burner. The mixer plate fits in between the air intake of the griddle and the burner assembly and is fixed with mounting points.
