The T&S Brass B-3960 3" Sink Opening Waste Drain Lever works by attaching the drain mechanism so that when the lever is pressed the waste plug is raised or lowered to begin or end the flow of water through the sink drain. When force is used, the lever swivels to open the linkage that opens the 3-inch drain opening, which is where wastewater can get out or be held. This lever assembly is attached to the drain outlet of the sink to be linked to the internal drainage.
