The Coldzone 08219273 Defrost Termination Switch 10-1/2" L 1-1/16" W 2-Wire 120 VAC operates by sensing evaporator coil temperature and controlling the defrost cycle in systems. It opens or closes the electrical circuit at 120 VAC to signal when the coil has reached a predetermined heat stopping the defrost process and returning the system to cooling mode. It is installed within the cooler’s evaporator section positioned to accurately monitor coil conditions for cycle control and integrated into the unit housing to register temperature changes during operation and assist in defrost cycle termination logic within controlled cooling settings.
