The Stero 0P-551133 Heating Element 460V 5000W generates heat by passing electrical current through a high-resistance coil that converts electrical energy into thermal output for raising wash tank water temperature. It works through resistive heating, where energy is dissipated along the element surface, transferring heat directly into the surrounding water to support wash and rinse cycle temperature requirements during operation stages. The heating element is positioned at the bottom of the dishwasher wash tank, secured by mounting brackets, with electrical terminals linked to the power source.
