The Stero P55-1133 Heating Element 5000W generates heat by passing electrical current through a resistance coil that converts electrical energy into thermal output for heating dishwasher wash, or rinse water. It works through resistive heating, where the element surface becomes hot as current flows transferring energy directly into the surrounding water to support temperature rise during wash cycles controlled by the dishwasher system. The heating element is securely positioned at the bottom of the dishwasher wash tank, affixed with brackets and linked to the 460V power terminals during setup.
