The Market Forge 10-6156 Steam Trap 5/8" OD Inlet works on the concept of automatically releasing condensate and non-condensable gases in a steam system while maintaining steam flow. It uses a thermostatic system that opens and closes based on the temperature variations between steam and condensate, which is efficient in the separation. This steam trap is used in commercial kitchen steam systems, and is mounted on pipelines where condensate is likely to collect such as around steam kettles, ovens or other steam-heated appliances.
