The Southbend 1008756 Brass Hood Orifice #56 NAT 3/8" 1/2 which meters high amounts of natural gas to a burner, is utilized to provide the proper size of aperture to restrict gas before flowing into provide the proper size of a flame in that burner application. Gas is then passed through the calibrated hole, which is to be injected at a specified pressure to be burnt. It is installed in the gas train between the hood or burner assembly of compatible equipment and is between the gas supply and the burner inlet.
