The T&S Brass 10385-45 Flat Strainer is intended to fit in a drain hole to collect food pieces before they get into the drainage system. Its perforated surface is flat, and therefore water is able to pass through it but leaves behind bigger solids. This is installed either above or within sink and drain holes in foodservice. The spacing between the holes is done to balance between drainage and debris capture. It can be carried out manually to empty and clean.
