The Kason 11248000024 Spring Assisted Cam Rise Hinge Reversible 1-3/8" Offset works by raising the door a little on opening and directs it to close in a regulated movement. The hinge is rotated to produce the cam rise action, which minimizes the contact of the surface, and the internal spring ensures a consistent motion in either mounting direction. The hinge is designed to be mounted at the door and frame junction with an offset of 1-3/8 inches and is designed to be installed on the walk-in cooler and freezer doors.
