The Jade Range 120-153-000 Infrared Broiler Burner 5-1/8" X 24-1/8" created to generate infrared heat in commercial broiling equipment by transforming the combustion of gases into radiant thermal heat through the entire burner surface. It works by feeding it with gas via attached lines and igniting it to produce infrared output, which is used to directly transfer heat to food surfaces to control cooking, searing and browning. It is mounted in the broiler cavity, and it is connected to the gas supply and ignition system of the appliance to facilitate coordinated performance.
