The Scotsman 12258621 Ice Machine Pump/Motor Assembly 115V works by pumping water into the reservoir and forcing it to flow over the evaporator plate to ensure that it is formed regularly. This internal part uses a 115V rotor to rotate the impeller to keep the required hydraulic pressure to sustain the cycle. The assembly is usually fitted into the compartment of the water system, but it is fastened directly to the bottom or side of the reservoir of the unit.
