The Manitowoc 13181 Water Inlet Fitting allows water to flow into the distribution systems. It works by forming a closed connection between the outside supply line and the inlet tubing of the unit allowing water to flow through a controlled point before it enters the water section, where it is processed by the unit's valves. The fitting ensures the proper alignment of the supply connection, and a constant transfer path into the water circuit of the equipment. It is normally mounted at the back, or bottom service portion of a compatible inlet assembly.
