The Franklin Chef 140398 TS Safety Body & Magnet Head Assembly Pilot J-Type operates by using a magnetic mechanism to control the flow of gas through the system. When it is activated, the magnet head moves to open the gas pathway, allowing ignition, and closes automatically to stop flow when not working. This assembly connects via a 3/8" FPT inlet and a 1/8" FPT pilot outlet, ensuring integration with compatible cooking equipment. It is usually installed within the appliances control section positioned, to interact with the pilot burner, while maintaining proper alignment for gas delivery and ignition.
