The APW 14894-01 Temperature Control 36" CAP 25 to 40F works by measuring temperature changes using a capillary sensing tube filled with a reactive fluid that expands and contracts in response to temperature changes. These pressure changes are converted to mechanical switching action that controls electrical circuit activation in the temperature regulation system by the internal control mechanism. The control is housed in compatible equipment control housing and mounted behind the front panel with the capillary line leading into the controlled compartment for integration into the unit assembly.
