The Ultrafryer 18A098 Fryer High-Limit Thermostat interrupts the heating circuit when an excessive temperature reaches the preset threshold. A sensing tube transfers thermal conditions to the internal switching mechanism, allowing electrical contacts to open at 450°F. The 36" capillary length provides reach between the sensing location and mounting frame, allowing the sensing point to be positioned within the heated section. Terminal connections transfer the contact state into surrounding wiring, removing electrical usage when the calibrated limit is reached.
