The APW 20656-02 Gas Safety Valve controls liquid propane flow through the connected fuel line. Threaded ports with a 3/8" FPT provide the connection points for adjoining piping, while separate entry and discharge passages establish the travel direction through the structure. The internal mechanism responds to an electrical signal, opening the fuel route when energized and closing it when that signal is removed. The 120 volts identifies the electrical level required for actuation. The assembly regulates fuel admission toward the burner during heating intervals.
