The Montague 2167-9 Oven Motor Kit Assembly is a 3/4 horsepower with a 5/8" shaft, which is rated to run on 115/230 volts. It is applied in commercial kitchen settings to power the internal blower or circulation parts which circulate air within the cooking cavity. It is installed in the motor compartment of the oven to change electrical power into the rotational motion required to evenly distribute heat throughout the cooking cycles. In the operation of the kitchen motor is turned on as long as the oven is working, and it aids in maintaining constant temperatures.
