The Garland 227010 Safety Valve TS11 regulates the flow of gases to the burner where fuel is only allowed to flow after the correct ignition conditions are achieved. It operates on an internal safety system that automatically cuts off the gas in case the pilot flame is not detected and the unignited fuel is not introduced into the system. This safety valve is placed in the gas system of the equipment and is usually placed near the burner and pilot assembly where it directly controls the delivery of fuel during operation.
