The Star Mfg 2E-30301-02 Oven Door Micro Leaf Switch 20A 125-250 V or 480V operates by sensing when the oven door has been opened or closed to change the power circuit on or off, respectively. It works by the leaf spring system which opens or closes the electrical connection with the change in the door position to provide accurate power flow to internal parts. This micro switch is usually mounted in the oven door assembly and is aligned with the door latch or hinge mechanism.
