The Star Mfg 2E-30305-01 Infinite Switch 15A 240V is used to regulate the amount of power delivered to heating elements, by controlling the flow of electrical power enabling the exact control of cooking temperatures. It operates by variable resistance which changes the amount of current to keep the heat intensity required during operation. This infinite switch is mounted behind the control panel of compatible cooking or heating systems, where it is connected to the heating element and power source to maintain a smooth and consistent temperature control during operation.
