The Star Mfg 2T-Y1646 Thermostat is intended to be used to monitor and control temperatures in compatible foodservice equipment. It works by using a sensing bulb and capillary tube assembly that changes in response to temperature changes and turns on and off the heat circuits connected to it. The thermostat turns the heating elements on and off to keep the desired temperature range of 200°F to 375°F. The unit is installed in the control section and is part of the overall temperature control system.
