The Star Mfg 301058 Fryer Heating Element 4130/5500W 208/240V operates by directing electrical current through a reinforced metal sheath to ensure the thermal setpoints needed to prepare foods in commercial cooking conditions. The interior insulation controls the energy flow and the exterior surface allows optimum heat exchange with the surrounding oil. This power element is placed at the bottom of the frying chamber serving as a direct source of heat to the cold area to trap debris. The element is made using high-temperature alloys and retains its structural integrity even when it undergoes a lot of thermal expansion and contraction.
