The Tri-Star 340132 Thermostat KXT regulates temperature by sensing heat through its capillary and sensing bulb, automatically cycling the heating circuit on and off to maintain the selected cooking temperature. It responds to changes in the cavity temperature, allowing the heating system to operate within the desired temperature range throughout the cooking process. This is installed behind the control panel of compatible systems, where it connects to the temperature control knob, capillary tube, and heating circuit. It operates as part of the temperature control system, regulating heat during normal cooking operations.
