The Master-Bilt 35-01478 Door Closer Polished Chrome operates by automatically closing the door once it has been opened to ensure the refrigerated units are properly sealed and properly maintained with the right temperature. It operates by use of a spring-loaded mechanism which provides a constant tension to ensure that the door closes smoothly back into position. This door closer is attached to the hinge or frame of the refrigerator or freezer door and it provides controlled door motion and assists in maintaining optimum functioning in the unit.
