The Hobart 3585161 2-Speed Motor 1/3HP operates by converting electrical energy into mechanical rotation, to drive compatible foodservice equipment at two selectable speeds. The motor runs at 1725 or 1140 RPM, depending on the operating requirement while drawing 5.6 or 2.2 amps on a 115V single-phase power supply. It operates by putting internal, windings on the shaft to attain a controlled shaft rotation enabling a choice of higher and lower speed production. It is connected to the drive assembly of the equipment it is compatible with and connected to mounting points with electrical connections routed into the control circuit.
