The Blodgett 36429 is a safety device used to stop electrical circuits from overcurrent conditions inside commercial ovens. It works on thermal or magnetic tripping principle. The breaker's internal mechanism heats up thermal tripping or a magnetic field is generated magnetic tripping, when the current flowing through the circuit is excessive, and the breaker automatically disconnects the power supply to the oven. As they have improved safety, reduced risk of electrical fires, protected expensive oven equipment and potentially provided for better energy efficiency.
