The Vollrath/Idea-Medalie 369100 Natural Gas Pilot Orifice w/Counter Bored Flat 1/4" CCT is used to regulate the flow of natural gas to the pilot burner to maintain a constant and accurate flame to ignite. It operates by a small accurate, machined opening that controls the pressure and rate of flow of gases to ensure that the combustion conditions are constant. It is a pilot orifice that is located in the gas supply system, and is placed between the pilot tube and the burner assembly, where it is essential in the operation of the pilot flame initiation and maintenance.
