The Southbend 4-LLC1 Jacketed Kettle Liquid Level Control is used to measure the amount of water inside by using a built-in sensing probe that measures, the conductivity of the electricity in the appliance. Once the fluid has fallen to a certain level, a signal is automatically activated to restore the supply or turn off heating components in order to prevent dry firing. This component is mounted directly on the exterior plumbing assembly control housing of compatible steam-jacketed kettles. The unit is a vital mechanical contact point to ensure that there is the proper level of thermal transfer medium in the production.
