Manufacturer:
The Jackson 4820-300-08-00 Vacuum Breaker interrupts siphoning by introducing air into the water line during pressure reversal. A polished chrome exterior surrounds the operating mechanism, while the 3/4" NPT tapped connection provides the interface with adjoining piping. Pressure variation causes the internal sealing assembly to change position automatically as water flow rises or falls. Air admission occurs only during reverse-pressure conditions, returning the internal mechanism to its position once equilibrium is restored.
