The Cuno 5582003 Cold Water Scale Inhibitor is a water-treatment part to control scale formation in cold-water supply systems up to 6 GPM. It treats incoming water to minimize the potential for mineral deposits to form on internal surfaces and associated equipment. It is installed in the water line with a 3/4" NPT connection, it can be used with water temperatures up to 100°F. It provides to the prevention of scale formation, which may impact water passages and equipment operation.
