The Hobart 67500-72 Dishwasher O-Ring works by pushing two surfaces together to create a mechanical barrier to the movement of liquids. This elastomeric loop is used to keep the probe or overflow tube assembly sealed so that the moisture does not escape the internal chamber during the wash cycles. This element is installed in the groove of a dishwasher probe or the bottom of the overflow tube of different commercial models. The specific geometry needed to seal the gap between the probe housing and the wall of the dishwasher tank is the 13/16" internal diameter and 1/8" width.
