The Lang 80502-04 Solenoid Valve is used for regulating the flow of gas in improve griddles. This valve has a 1/2” FPT for the gas inlet and outlet and requires 120V power supply. It also compatible with Blodgett ovens and Garland equipment and Lincoln ovens that had Honeywell valves previously. It is a normally closed (NC) valve that opens to allow the flow of gas when energized to facilitate automation in cooking. Some of the benefits include; enhanced safety, accurate regulation of gas and fewer human interferences in the kitchen.

Installation Steps

Step1: Turn off gas and electrical power and confirm no gas pressure remains in the line before starting.

Step2: Remove the griddle front panel and label inlet and outlet gas lines for correct reassembly.

Step3: Disconnect wiring terminals and unscrew the existing solenoid valve from the gas line.

Step4: Install the new valve, ensuring correct flow direction and tight, leak-free threaded connections.
