The Dean 810-0357 Caster Plate with Brake 5 inch Medium-Duty offers a safe mounting surface to a caster wheel, and has a brake to prevent movement of the wheel when it is in use. The plate is fixed to the equipment frame, and the caster stem or fasteners go through the plate to fix the wheel assembly. It is mounted at the bottom of the unit, where it is required to move and stabilize the equipment. The brake feature secures the wheel against rolling when in use in a stationary state. This is a medium-duty plate that can be used in compatible equipment mobility and control.
