The Manitowoc 8930259 Ice Machine Drier is used to remove moisture and contaminants in the refrigeration system by pumping refrigerant through an internal desiccant core. Refrigerant passes through the dryer where moisture is absorbed and particulates are collected before getting to sensitive parts. It is fitted in line with the refrigeration circuit of compatible ice machines between the condenser and expansion apparatus. It assists in ensuring that the refrigerant flow conditions are maintained in the closed system. It can be fitted into specific parts of the tubing of the ice machine.
