The Scotsman A39031021 Ice Thickness-Sensor is used to measure the ice formation by touching the slab as it builds up on the evaporator surface. Once the ice has reached the predetermined thickness, the sensor will provide a signal to the control system and cause the harvest sequence to start. The component is mounted inside the ice machine, and is usually mounted close to evaporator plate where the ice is made during the freeze cycle. It is a replacement component, that interconnects with available wiring and connectors to facilitate the correct operation of a machine.
