The Edlund A526SSP Grinding Wheel Assembly 401 is used to sharpen cutting blades by rotating the abrasive wheel of the assembly against the edge to remove minute amounts of the substance. The spinning of the wheel reforms and sharpens the blade surface to ensure the blade continues to cut effectively. The assembly is fixed to the sharpener housing and aligned with internal instructions to make sure the assembly is in contact with the blade. It is designed as a whole unit which is installed in equipment to perform routine sharpening.
