The T&S Brass B1210M Steam Safety Relief Valve 15 PSI 3/4" Male X 3/4" Female 3/4" Bronze is a pressure valve used in compatible commercial steam equipment. It is installed within the steam circuit where it responds to pressure conditions inside the connected vessel or piping. When pressure reaches the designated setting the valve opens and releases steam from the system to lower internal pressure. After pressure returns to the operating range the valve closes to maintain the steam flow path. The valve works with the surrounding pressure controls and piping to provide regulated steam pressure relief during operation.
