The Beverage Air BEV305-408C Evaporator Coil 24" X 4" X 3" removes heat in the refrigerated compartment by pumping refrigerant into its system of tubes and fins, which evaporates the refrigerant as heat is pulled into the surfaces of the coils. It works by letting the warm air in the cabinet flow over the cold coil, and transferring thermal energy to the refrigerator, and the refrigeration cycle continues. This coil is within the refrigerated interior of the unit, and it is placed where air flows in touch with the coil surfaces behind internal panels.
