The compressor increase the pressure and temperature of the refrigerant to enable it to submit heat at the condenser, after which the cooled liquid is pumped back into the evaporator to take up heat in the cabinet. This condensing unit is either mounted on or close to the refrigeration system and is usually mounted at the rear or the bottom of the unit.
