The Crown Steam 5975-2 Tri-Leg Kettle Knob Assembly is used to lock or unlock the pivot points of a kettle by turning the knob. It is mounted on the outside of the kettle and is connected to the tilt or support hardware to allow the position of the kettle to be adjusted manually without any damage. The knob is placed on the side of the kettle and close to the pivot legs, and it allows the operator to lift, tilt or fix the equipment when cooking or cleaning. This position provides direct mechanical control of the movement.
