The Delfield 1702009 Door Gasket 23-1/8" X 59-1/4" forms a continuous seal by compressing the cabinet frame when the door is closed to restrict the interaction between warm air and internal cold air. It follows small localized variations on the surface, but at the same time, it maintains a consistent contact with the surface when opening and closing it repeatedly. The gasket is mounted on the perimeter of the refrigerator or freezer door opening, and is used to interface between the door edge and allow the refrigeration system to operate in the desired range.
