The Randell RPDSN001 Drain Screen has a mechanism where the liquids are allowed to flow through the perforated surface, but food particles and debris are prevented from entering the drain line. When the wastewater passes through the screen, the solid material is held on top of the barrier and can be removed in the course of the daily cleanup. This part will be fitted directly into a drain hole of compatible equipment. It acts as a point of connection between the drain basin and the joined plumbing system.
